Telehealth Consent

Last updated: August 6, 2026

This page is a plain-language summary of how telehealth works at Linnea. It is not the consent document itself: before receiving care, you will review and electronically sign the full telehealth informed consent presented during intake by the medical practice providing your care.

What telehealth means here

Your evaluation happens online. A licensed provider, operating in your state, reviews your health history, decides whether a program is appropriate, and prescribes only where it is. Follow-ups, messages, and plan changes happen in your patient portal.

Benefits

Telehealth removes travel and waiting rooms, makes follow-up easier, and keeps your care and records in one place.

Limitations

Telehealth is not appropriate for every situation. A provider may determine that your care needs an in-person visit and advise you accordingly, and completing a questionnaire or making a payment does not guarantee that a prescription will be written. Telehealth is never for emergencies — if you are experiencing one, call 911.

Privacy

Your care happens through a secure patient portal operated by the medical practices and their technology partners, under the privacy notices presented to you there. This marketing website collects no health information.

Your consent

The controlling document is the telehealth informed consent you sign during intake. If anything on this page and that document differ, the signed consent governs. Questions: hello@linneahealth.com.
