Questions
Does FDA approve compounded medications?
No. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved — FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness, or quality. They're prepared by state-licensed pharmacies for individual prescriptions, and a licensed provider decides whether one is appropriate for you before anything is prescribed.
Is the tablet program different from the injection programs?
The program structure is the same — evaluation, care coaching, labs, portal follow-up. Only the medication form differs, and a provider helps determine which is appropriate for you.
Can I switch to injections later?
Possibly — that's a clinical decision. Message your provider in the portal; where a change is appropriate, they'll adjust your program.
